Brazil (Minas Gerais/Belo Horizonte), Nanda
Najla, owner of an exciting and unique expression
and an unforgettable scene presence, has
a total history of 24 years of dance. Began
her studies at 6 years old, in 1985, through
the Classical Ballet, Jazz, Flamenco, Bellydance,
Tango and other more.
She
dedicate to Bellydance since 1999, when
she began her professional career as a dancer.
Her initial masters were Sabah Najmi and
Henry Netto, both from Brazil.
In
her career as a Bellydancer,she was part
of the professional group of bellydance
"Gotham" which won two years consecutively
the 1st place at the largest dance festival
in Latin America in Joinville - Santa Catarina.
She made several appearances throughout
the country, including in media.
Her
technical development has been through courses
and workshops taught by several renowned
dancers from Argentina, Brazil, China, Egypt
, Germany, United States, Lebanon, Porto
Rico and Japan, and videos from national
and international dancers.
All
her experience and ongoing research in several
dance styles, combined to her thirst by
the diversity and freedom of expression
allowed her develop a "fusion"
work, which has been specializing every
day. As one of the pioneers in Brazil to
promote this type of work with a extraordinary
seasoned, she has become a reference in
the subject and was invited to minister
a workshop for the second time (2009 and 2010) in the largest event
of Tribal Fusion in the East Coast of the
United States, The Spirit of the Tribes
in Florida.
