Classic
Bellydance
|
 |
| The
millenary Classic Egyptian Dance is one of
the great passions of Nanda Najla. It has
subtle hip moves, hip shimmies' domain, displacements
adapted from the Classical Ballet, simplified
movements of arms and hands, using of Arabesque,
spinns, chasses and much more. It is a very
exciting and expressive dance. The peak of
a bellydancer. |

Tribal
Fusion
|
 |
| Totally
hypnotic, bold and surprising, the Tribal
Fusion, which style Nanda Najla is reference
in and one of the pioneers in Brazil to perform
it, is a modality of free and contemporary
dance originaly from the United States in
the late 90 as a part of the style ATS (American
Tribal Style), which is based on the bellydance,
allowing merging movements and costumes from
various other types of dance. In particular,
while Nanda Najla dance, it's possible to
identify a little bit of all dance styles
of dance that she developed, including a large
influence of the break (hiphop). |

Tango
|
 |
|
The
Tango that was born in the late nineteenth
century in the suburbs of Buenos Aires,
is an old and hidden dream of Nanda Najla,
which now suddenly takes place with the
support of Carlos Clarck, her great friend
and partner. With all the femininity and
elegance, Nanda can fatally emotion who
watch her. It is a totally engaging and
seductive dance that inspires and makes
our hearts ache in love.

Bellytango
|
 |
|
The
Bellytango, a fusion of Classical bellydance
and the argentine Tango, is one of the strength
points of Nanda Najla, one of the pioneers in Brazil to perform
it. As a very recent
and contemporary style, historically there's
nothing to say about it. Because of this,
Nanda, through specific studies in Tango
and with her strong experience in bellydance,
she could develop her own concept and style,
resulting in something simply unique.
There are few bellydancers who dared to
be inspired by the beautiful argentine compositions
. In Nanda's point of view, the melody rich
in details, requires domain of musical reading
and body dexterity. The elegance is a prerequisite
for this style, and of course, the facial
and body expression must be impeccable.
In short, the Tango is the dance of flesh,
desire, intertwined bodies and bellydance
is a female dance of seduction and fertility,
which we can be sure is that the union of
these dances can only result in something
fascinating, engaging and dazzling.

Tribal
Tango
|
 |
| A
delicious fusion of the Tribal Fusion and
Tango. A totally engaging, strong and striking
combination. Nanda was the first dancer to
develop this merger in Brazil and was invited
this year to minister a workshop of this style,in
the largest event of Tribal Fusion of the
East Coast of the United States, The Spirit
of the Tribes in Florida! |

Zambra
/ Arabic Flamenco
|
|
|
|
The
Zambra dance (from Arabic Samra), born of
the new cultural manifestations from the
coexistence among people from East and Europe
after the Arab invasion in Spain, inherited
this name because of the Mourisco's festival
that was being performed in the Spanish
peninsula, especially in the region of Andalusia.
The Zambra or Arabic Flamenco came to be,
the fusion of dance movements of eastern
ancients and Gypsies. It's possible to see
the clear influence of all this cultural
patchwork,like beautiful skirts' work and
gypsy dance's displacements, ripples, hip
shimmies and the use of oriental dance's
accessories; tap dance, palms, singing,
castanets, fans, mantóns (shawls)
from Flamenco dance. It is a totally vibrant
and contagious dance.

Asian
Fusion
|
 |
| The
Chinese/Japonese dance has its own vocabulary
and meaning, allowing a dancer fully express
her thoughts and feelings with ease and grace
while dancing. Delighted with this culture,
Nanda, because of the no availability of information
about the meaning of gestures and movements
of this dance, developed without cultural
links, a fusion inspired in many Asian dances
which she studied through performance videos,
including movements and postures of Kung-fu
and bellydance. An unusual, striking and surprising
merger! |

Modern Dance (Fusion)
|
 |
|
Before
the Modern Dance, the Classical Dance (Ballet)
was the highest artistic expression of body
movement on the world's stages. The Modern
Dance has emerged as a break in the rigorous
standards of academic, researching new ways
for art to human expression through body
movement. It is based on the mobilize of
the entire body to the expression, especially
the torso, that all modern dancers, of all
tendencies, consider the source and engine
of the gesture. Nanda's inspirations are
Isadora Duncan, the pioneer in Modern Dance
and Martha Graham, both from the United
States. In this style, Nanda demand freedom
of movement through a merger of the basic
movements of bellydance with the versatility
of Modern Dance.
